What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you hire a horsebox. This information includes your name, your telephone number, email address, postal address, your driver’s licence and we check these against a recent utility bill.
What do we use this information for?
We use this information to complete our ‘on/off hire’ forms where we record mileage details and any wear and tear on the vehicle before letting it on hire to you. We check your driver’s licence against the utility bill you provide and we carry out a check with the DVLA to ensure you are legally entitled to drive a 3.5 ton horsebox with your driving licence.
We keep your details on file to refer to should a traffic offence occur that you have not notified us of so we can check dates/times and contact you with appropriate details.
From time to time we may email or text you to provide offers on horsebox hire. You can of course opt out of receiving these at any time.
The information we hold is kept securely onsite in buildings that are alarmed. If you send us an enquiry this information is held in our email software to answer your enquiry only and then it is deleted.
